Get Free and Stay Free was founded by Rich Jacobs after he retired from one of the largest maximum-security prisons in the United States. Rich now works full-time at a juvenile detention center, where he continues to learn about the criminal behaviors, circumstances, and choices affecting young people who may be heading toward adult prison if they do not change course. This experience has deepened his passion for bringing together anyone who can contribute to safer communities, from returning citizens and reentry advocates to concerned community members.
